Cole Palmer has been named the Premier League Player of the Month award winner for the month of April, 2024.
The Chelsea winger enjoyed a highly prolific set of matches in the month, including two amazing performances at Stamford Bridge.
Palmer scored back-to-back hattricks in successive home games, including one in the 4-3 win over Man United. He then scored four goals in the 6-0 battering of Everton.
He also picked up an assist by teeing up Noni Madueke’s goal in his s ide’s 2-2 draw against Sheffield United.
Cole has been able to beat out stiff competition from the likes of Kai Havertz, Bruno Fernandes and Josko Gvardiol to win his first-ever Premier League POTM award.
Incidentally, Palmer has become the first Chelsea player to win this award in almost six years. The last player to do so was Eden Hazard way back in September 2018.
