Chelsea have discarded their pursuit of Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams, according to Ben Jacobs and Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues believe they have enough players that left-wing position with wingers like Mudryk, Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson who can also play there.
Williams is also demanding to be paid more than the £172,000 a week he currently earns at Bilbao — which has further put off Chelsea.
Everything indicates that Chelsea are unlikely to sign a new winger this summer, barring the possibility of Sterling being swapped with Michael Olise of Crystal Palace.
Chelsea are said to be prioritizing the signing of a striker and possibly a goalkeeper. A new defender may also arrive to replace the departing Thiago Silva.
