It's over for Hakim Ziyech and Chelsea.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Ziyech will not return to Chelsea and will continue his career at Galatasaray permanently.
Galatasary have met the obligation to sign Ziyech and a letter confirming the transfer has already been acknowledged by Chelsea.
It's unclear if Galatasaray paid any transfer fee for Ziyech. Chelsea signed the Moroccan winger from Ajax in 2020 for €40m. His contract with the Blues runs until 2025 but Chelsea have probably decided to cut their losses.
Ziyech scored a miserly 14 goals and 13 assists in his 107 appearances for Chelsea across four years. He won the Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup barely a year after joining the Blues.
The 31-year-old has scored 8 goals and 4 assists in his 21 games for Galatasaray this season.
