Chelsea's interest in Michael Olise remains alive — that's according to Tribal Football.
Last summer Chelsea pursued Olise only to see him sign a contract extension with Palace with a £60m release clause inserted in the four-year deal.
Despite their admiration of the player, Chelsea are said to be unwilling to pay Olise's £60m release clause and are plotting to include Raheem Sterling in a swap deal to bring the scintillating Frenchman to the Bridge.
Sterling has largely underperformed at Chelsea since his €56m move from Manchester City. The Englishman has only managed 17 goals and 12 assists across the two seasons.
Sterling remains Chelsea's highest-paid player bagging a staggering €325K per week in wages.
Meanwhile, Olise who has had a longstanding battle with injuries this term has managed 13 goal involvements in 17 games.
Would you replace Sterling with Olise?
