Chelsea five points away from Europe: Premier League standings after Sunday matches

After another weekend, Chelsea's chances to qualify for any European competition have become slimmer.

While the Blues dropped points against Aston Villa, Newcastle demolished Sheffield United 5-1.

They're sitting seventh which would give them a place in the Conference League. Chelsea are five points behind, with West Ham in between.

Chelsea still have five games to play, one more than Newcastle, so they could put pressure on them in the race for Europe. Their game in hand, though, is against Tottenham on Thursday.
