Pochettino ‘gives up’ on two Chelsea summer signings

Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino reportedly raised question marks against both Djordje Petrovic and Robert Sanchez.

GiveMeSport claims that he doesn’t view Chelsea goalkeepers Petrovic and Sanchez as the long-term solution for the No 1 position at the club.

It is explained that the Blues have identified they need to sign a new and improved keeper in the transfer market.

Petrovic and Sanchez, who both joined Chelsea in 2023, have been competing this campaign to be the first-choice goalkeeper. It sounds like they’ve each failed their audition and not done enough to convince Pochettino in the dugout.

Petrovic has played 22 matches with just four clean sheets while Sanchez has five in 21 appearances.
