Real Madrid make Kepa decision (reliability: 5 stars)

Real Madrid will not keep Kepa Arrizabalaga beyond this season, Fabrizio Romano reports. The Whites have decided to give a new contract to Andriy Lunin.

The Basque goalie will be 'back to Chelsea with [a] decision to be made on his future'.

Kepa's contract with the Blues expires in 2025. Chelsea paid £71.6m, a record fee for a goalkeeper, to sign him back in 2018.

The 29-year-old joined Real Madrid on a season-long loan after an injury to Thibaut Courtois but has lost his starting place to Lunin. Kepa has made 18 appearances across competitions for the Whites, conceding 18 goals and keeping seven clean sheets.
