Should Palmer always take penalties for Chelsea? Poch answers

Cole Palmer bagged a brace in Chelsea's disappointing 2-2 draw with Burnley on Saturday. One of his goals came from a spot.

It is the England international's sixth penalty goal this season. He has a 100% conversation rate, having scored all ten penalties he has so far taken in his professional career.

Chelsea don't have a designated set-piece taker. Mauricio Pochettino was asked if Palmer should take all penalties this season, in light of Raheem Sterling missing one against Leicester.

"If he decides to give the ball to another player, I cannot go onto the pitch to say no or I'll get a red card," Poch said, as quoted by the Evening Standard.

"He is a specialist, shooting really well, but it is a decision on the pitch depending on the circumstances.

"It is about who is on the pitch. I could say 1, 2, 3, like in Paris [Saint-Germain] with Neymar, Messi and Sergio Ramos. But after between them they can say, no you, me, or them."
