Chelsea have already loaned out two players to fellow BlueCo club Strasbourg — but that number could've been even bigger.
According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea offered the French club to take striker Deivid Washington on loan in both previous transfer windows. Both times, Strasbourg rejected the opportunity to sign the striker who joined the Blues for £17.1m last summer.
As a result, Washington has stayed put at Stamford Bridge. He has been included in the matchday squad on multiple occasions but only played a total of nine minutes in the Premier League.
It's not clear if Washington would've been better off playing on loan at Strasbourg, though. Neither Andrey Santos nor Angelo Gabriel, the Chelsea players currently at the Ligue 1 club, are regular starters.
