Enzo Fernandez doubt for Burnley game

The Evening Standard report that there is doubt that Enzo Fernandez will be fit to start for Chelsea against Burnley on Saturday.

The midfielder is set to play for Argentina against Costa Rica in a friendly which will kick off at 2:50 UK time on Wednesday.

Enzo will then have to take a 14-hour flight to London. Thus, he will have only one training session with Chelsea before the Burnley game.

Therefore, it is likely that the 23-year-old will be benched to make sure he doesn't get injured. However, the situation is further complicated by Carney Chukwuemeka picking up an injury on international duty.
