Conor Gallagher's future only depends on Chelsea and their financial fair-play situation, according to Fabrizio Romano.
"I'm aware that there have been claims about Conor Gallagher's salary demands being a problem for Chelsea and holding up an agreement over a new contract. My understanding, however, is that it's not about Gallagher asking for crazy money or anything unreasonable for his new deal," Romano explains.
Chelsea are said to be in talks with the 24-year-old over a new deal; however, there is no breakthrough in the negotiations and the Englishman's future is up in the air.
Gallagher's current deal with the Blues expires in 2025. Tottenham Hotspur are said to be really interested in landing the midfielder.
Conor has registered 11 goal contributions in 38 games for Chelsea this season.
