Thiago Silva. Back in training but it's unclear if he's fit to start.
Carney Chukwuemeka. Ankle. Back in team training so might take part in the Newcastle game.
Benoit Badiashile. Groin. Has returned to 'partial' team training so it's unclear if he's fit for the Newcastle game.
Marc Cucurella. Ankle. Back in training, the Newcastle game will likely come too soon for him though. Expected back in contention soon.
Ben Chilwell. Knee injury. The defender's return date has not been revealed yet but he's definitely ruled out against Newcastle.
Levi Colwill. Toe. Not available.
Reece James. Hamstring injury, set to be back later in March or next month.
Christopher Nkunku. Hamstring. Expected back either late in March or next month.
Romeo Lavia. Fitness. Unclear when he'll be back.
Lesley Ugochukwu. Hamstring. Was initially expected to recover by mid-February but remains sidelined.
Wesley Fofana. ACL. Unlikely to play this season.
