Chelsea rivals believe Blues 'must generate about £100m' by July – 3 players could leave

Chelsea's Premier League rivals believe the Blues 'must raise around £100m' by the end of June, reports The Telegraph's Matt Law.

This is in order to avoid spending breaches. Chelsea, however, insist that any early sales would be made with consequent signings in mind.

If the Blues are actually in need of raising big funds, it could be particularly difficult this time because of the Euro 2024 that starts in mid-June and ends in mid-July. Big moves barely take place during huge international tournaments.

This is where loans with buyout options could help. Chelsea are going to receive £28m from Newcastle United for Lewis Hall; they also expect to get £35m for Ian Maatsen and about £30m for Romelu Lukaku.

Some other players the Blues could try to offload are Trevoh Chalobah, Armando Broja, Conor Gallagher and Marc Cucurella.
