Chelsea have loaned Armando Broja to Fulham until the end of the season and former Premier League player Clinton Morrison was surprised by the move.
“I am surprised that they let Broja go, but it is good for Broja. He needs to play football, I think.
“We saw when he went on loan, he did ever so well at Southampton. He has had a lot of injuries, the young man. I still think he has got a lot of ability, he can hold the ball up, he can stretch them behind, he can score goals.
“For me, it is a good move for him. I wish him well. I was surprised Chelsea let him go just because they are struggling in the number 9 area, but maybe he sees Nkunku as the man to play there between now and the end of the season.”
Broja could not get a proper run of games under Pochettino since his return from injury and a move to Fulham would probably be more fruitful than getting the odd appearance for Chelsea off the bench.
