Frank Lampard back at Stamford Bridge & 2 more under-radar stories at Chelsea today

Frank Lampard back at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea legend was spotted in the posh seats. He was deep in conversation with Laurence Stewart, one of Blues' directors of football.

He was later pictured seated next to Todd Boehly himself, the man who appointed him as an interim head coach less than a year ago.

West Ham put off Broja

West Ham have cooled down their interest in Armando Broja due to his recent performances, as well as Chelsea's excessive demands.

"He’s (Broja) not done it recently," a top West Ham source told Hammers News. "But the manager [David Moyes] DID like him. Chelsea pay too much and ask too much and some of their players are just on too high a wage."

Alan Shearer rates Chelsea play for Fulham goal

"From a Chelsea point of view, it was really well worked. The pass from Palmer was superb," Alan Shearer told Premier League Productions about Chelsea's only goal in the Fulham win.

"That skill from Raheem Sterling was superb. But I mean, it’s a stupid tackle from Diop. He is a yard and a half away and is nowhere near the ball. Really sloppy challenge and it was a penalty.

"Cole Palmer then sticks it away really well. He is really confident. We have seen him do that many times this season. Full of confidence and full of belief. I love his attitude."
