Chris Sutton has slammed Todd Boehly for his transfer strategy, likening him to a 'rich drunk guy', on the It's All Kicking Off Podcast.
"That is pretty alarming," said Sutton on Poch asking for new signings in the January window.
"Pochettino nailing those colours to his mast that he needs more players in at this point in time.
"I'd compare Todd Boehly, in terms of the players bought in, to a rich drunk guys at a sporting dinner who buys all the memorabilia.
"He wakes up the next morning and thought 'I've bought all these things and don't know what to do with them.'"
"Pochettino is in place now to get the best out of this team and he is not doing it.
"It's a bit like Championship Manager. It was never going to be easy for Pochettino but it's fair to say now we're putting the boot into Manchester United and talking about their inconsistency, Chelsea have been so, so disappointing."
