Former Chelsea captain John Terry has opened up on his view of Mauricio Pochettino and believes he has been 'excellent' since his arrival.
“Since Poch came in he’s been excellent," stated Terry on the Obi One Podcast.
"Since my retirement he’s the only manager [not including Lampard] who’s put his arm round me and said ‘JT you come over here whenever you want’ and it’s the only time I’ve felt comfortable going into the first team building.
"The feeling and the buzz is back in the building under Pochettino. I’m enjoying my role in the academy. I watch a lot of their games and feedback to them and the coaches.”
Terry has been back at Chelsea in the role of an academy coach since July and has been working closely with Poch. It's probably the reason he can't be too critical of the boss regardless of the team's league position.
