Reece James is often adored by Chelsea fans. Beyond his commitment to the club, Blues rate James among the best right-backs in the world. During the summer Mauricio Pochettino went ahead to install James as Chelsea captain. Despite the Englishman being 23 most Chelsea fans were on board with the decision because of how high they value the player.
However, a ranking carried out by UK-based outlet FourFourTwo doesn't seem to rate James among the top five best right-backs in the world over the last five years.

James's low rating may have to do with his injury history. While the defender can be considered top quality, he's no use to anyone if he can't stay fit to play regularly. Records showed that James has missed over 500 days through injury in the last three seasons.
Perhaps James would rank higher if he maintained consistency and fitness. The Blues skipper can start from the visit of Blackburn on Wednesday.
