Just 5 players remain from Chelsea's Club World Cup winning squad — it hasn't even been 2 years since

Chelsea's last trophy to date is the Club World Cup which the Blues won back in February 2022.

It was a different world in many ways: Russia had not begun their criminal invasion of Ukraine, Abramovich was still a Chelsea owner and Tuchel was in charge of the Blues.

Things have changed so much but the number of changes to happen with Chelsea's squad is astonishing.

Only five players remain at the Bridge now, 19 months after the Club World Cup victory. These are Thiago Silva, Reece James, Trevoh Chalobah, Ben Chilwell and Marcus Bettinelli. Curiously, only one of them actually played in the competition — Thiago Silva.
