'It will be useful to recover my players': Pochettino on taking a break during international matches

Chelsea are taking a break during the international matches to get their injured players back on track. Nine players are currently dealing with injuries, but many of them might be ready to play against Bournemouth when club football resumes.

While most of Mauricio Pochettino's squad will be representing their national teams, he's excited to have some of his players returning. He named two goalkeepers and a young talent Deivid Washington.

Quoted by the Evening Standard, Pochettino said: "I only have four players [to work with over the international break] but I think it will be useful to recover some players, yes."

"I think nearly all my squad will be away so we will only have four or five. It will be useful to recover my players to have a more competitive squad to get the best results."

So, for Chelsea, the international break can be a chance to get injured players back. Pochettino will have some time to rethink his strategies and formations for the upcoming games.
