Spotted: Next Chelsea signing in attendance for Luton game

Chelsea are close to announcing Djordje Petrovic as the new goalkeeper after completing a deal with New England Revolution.

The Serb was at Stamford Bridge for the Premier League game against Luton, with the Sky Sports broadcast spotting him in the stands.

After the game, Petrovic joined Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly, as well as Reece James and Romeo Lavia who all entered the Blues' dressing room.

Petrovic is a 23-year-old goalkeeper who has two Serbia caps. He is expected to compete with Robert Sanchez for the No.1 role at Chelsea but will start as his backup.
