the whole team was a mess and couldn't win the league, not Kepa's fault. And Kepa still managed be among the gk that conceed less. And he also won the best save of the season..  Mendy can't even handle a back pass and can't even pass the ball to his defenders.

And Mendy cant handle a back pass. its also difficult for Mendy to play together with his defense, what kind of a good gk does that??

I wanted another keeper to compete with Kepa, since the coach have make it clear he wants to work with Kepa I will respect his decision and not being carried away with emotion of changing the keeper. He knows better. we are just fans with Emotion...So help Us God.

I totally agree with your assessment. Kepa is small as keepers go these days and has never been a commanding presence in the box. His small stature is also one of the reasons that he gets beat on long shots as he doesn’t have the reach that’s often required to get to wide balls.

Kepa will never be good enough because he cannot command his own penalty box and is scared stiff to come off his line and gets beaten too easily from long shots as he is not big enough to get to them. You want a big commanding goalie who will come through everything to get the ball but with Kepa that will never happen and if I was playing in font of him I would not be happy if he did not command his box. The big problem is that the goalkeeper coach coming in is very friendly with Kepa so the manager could give in to making him NO 1 Goalie but I hope not as they need a new one. John Dempsey ex Player
