Former Man City captain Vincent Kompany has unexpectedly emerged as one of the names on Chelsea's shortlist for the head coach vacancy.
When asked about these reports, the Belgian insisted that he is focused on his work at Burnley.
"I’ve said I’m not engaging in any of these conversations," Kompany said.
"I have too much at this moment in time in my head in terms of wanting to win football matches. That’s the only thing I care about."
In his first season at the club, Kompany has already taken Burnley back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
Still, he's a very inexperienced coach which plays against him in the race. It means that Mauricio Pochettino appears to be the frontrunner to become the Chelsea boss in the coming months if not weeks.
