'It has to be': Mudryk named most disappointing signing of the season — he only joined Chelsea in January

Speaking on ESPN FC, former Chelsea midfielder Craig Burley was asked about the most disappointing signing of the 2022/23 Premier League season.

The 51-year-old had a reply at the ready: "Mykhailo Mudryk it has to be, but I'm not a big fan of Antony [from Manchester United] either.

"Richarlison [of Tottenham] has been hot and cold; he's not always had game time though, Antonio Conte hasn't always played him."

Chelsea beat Arsenal to Mudryk's signature in the January transfer window, bringing in the Shakhtar Donetsk forward from in a deal worth about €100 million.

However, the 22-year-old has been a massive disappointment at Stamford Bridge, failing to score at least once in six Premier League games.
