Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Tottenham will sign Pedro Porro from Sporting on a deal running till 2028.
Porro was also linked to Chelsea for a while before Spurs but it's probably a good thing the Blues didn't pursue the player more aggressively.
It is a good thing because it possibly avoids some dressing room hostility between current Chelsea star Joao Felix and Pedro Porro. That’s because these two and Magui Corceiro, Felix’s girlfriend, have been reported to be in a kind of love triangle.
Corceiro has dated Felix for years but recently she had to deny reports she cheated on him — with Porro. The pair were allegedly spotted kissing in a night club and then Porro was also pictured handing Corceiro his Sporting shirt after a recent match and the two then shared a hug:
Porro claims that he has a "special relationship" with Joao Felix’s girlfriend and that "no-one was being unfaithful". In short, you can already imagine the headlines by the British media even if no one was being unfaithful indeed.
