Kante & 6 more: players who might leave Chelsea in 2023

Chelsea are gearing up for two more massive transfer windows, as Todd Boehly wants to back Graham Potter with new signings.

To get those players into the squad, however, some current Blues will have to be let go. Here are some of the players who might leave Chelsea next year.

Thiago Silva. Chelsea will be happy to keep the 38-year-old, but without a World Cup to look forward to in the next couple of years, it's not certain that he decides to stay.

Marcus Bettinelli. The third-choice keeper's contract also expires next summer. However, if both the club and the player continue to be happy with this arrangement, there's every chance he might stay.

N'Golo Kante. According to the latest reports, Chelsea are reluctant to meet Kante's demands over a new deal due to his age and injury record. He might leave as a free agent in the summer.

Jorginho. There's a bit more optimism about Jorginho's contract talks, with his agent publicly stating that staying at Chelsea beyond this season.

Denis Zakaria. The Juventus loanee will hope to turn things around at Chelsea in the second part of his stay there, but it's hard to see him staying here beyond the summer.

Christian Pulisic. The American who struggles to play regularly at Stamford Bridge has been linked with other clubs for months. He could be on his way out after Christopher Nkunku joins.

Hakim Ziyech. He is in a similar situation to Pulisic, with the difference that he could get a move in January after a successful World Cup with Morocco.
