Rufus if Laimer is not willing to come to Chelsea do you think all the established players you claim they are will come to Chelsea. I think is better to focus on securing champions league spot then go after these players cause none of them will come if we don't secure champions league spot.

all I can say about this is we the fans are confused we don't really know what we want. if the board decide to go for an established players some will say Chelsea like to waste money that all they know is to go for an established players why can't they go for players from small clubs that are doing fine. if they decide to go for less established players and some will still come out and complain again that the board didn't know what they are doing and kean while it's we the fans that are confused, all we can do is to wait and be patient becauce this is a new era and we all have to go through the process and hope for the best in future.

I agreed with Mikel,Not Essien and Drogba,Essien was already an established first team player at Lyon Same as Drogba he was banging in goals for Marseille,Top players are indeed important to join the Club,Can't u see we are not heading nowhere with the current crops of players?

neither Drogba or essien were household names unless you took an interest in the French leagues or supported the African nations they played for but coming to Chelsea put them in that world stage and they repayed that with brilliant performances and loyalty same goes for a lot of players the club that gives them the time and effort is the club they play there best football at hazard at Chelsea bale at Tottenham Messi at barca players are best when they have something to prove

and yes I can see this current crop of players are lacking and I do think we need to sell att least half the current squad but Chelsea hasn't had a world class squad since the Drogba lampard and Terry days we've had the odd world class player that carried the team but as I said with how players seem to be now days when they get there big money move I don't feel that continuing to chase the big names is going to improve the club but finding the next world stars that we can build a team around for the next 10 years would be a far better option it says it all when an old school defender like Silva is consistently outperforming this new crop of superstars

I don't know what's happening at Chelsea and the recruitment Board,This club needs to step up or else we will stay longer out of the top 4 in the next 5 season,It hurt me when I see Chelsea linked with all type of players,Lavia and Laimer are at Chelsea's level? we should be going for established midfielders  like  Rice,Milankovic Savic,Nicolo Barella,Marcelo Brozovic we should be targeting these players not Lavia and Laimer pls
