Managers Graham Potter and Thomas Frank interview each other before Brentford vs Chelsea (video)

In a first for the Premier League, we got to see two managers playing against each other, ask one another questions before a match last night.

Brentford boss Thomas Frank and Graham Potter were both on the Amazon Sport panel side by side and asked each other a question before kick-off yesterday.

Here's a little bit of the fascinating conversation had between the two managers:

Frank: "First I would praise Graham a lot. It's a fantastic journey he's been on and I'm so happy a coach who has been walking the long way gets a chance at a top six club and I think Graham has showed his qualities hugely and I'm sure he'll do a great job at Chelsea."

"If I could ask him one question - why are you changing the formation so many times?"

Potter: "Well changing the formation - we don't see it as the end goal, it's about how the team is playing. The team needs to look consistent no matter what the formation is.

"Then it's about the personnel, how you want to attack, defend - these are the things we consider. Hopefully there's things that look the same even though the shape changes."

It was then Potter's turn to ask a question: "It has to be a serious one [question] because you asked me a serious one… (What is) the biggest difference from the Championship to the Premier League?"

Frank: "I would say, the quality of the players is crazy, you can make minor mistakes and you just get punished so much more. The speed of the game and it's more of the modern game playing in the Premier League - there are so many changes, formation shifts in the game, a lot of teams are doing that more and more, so big challenge."
