Not one Everton Player would get in our First 11 and only Calvert lewin would get in our squad ,so saying Everton have backed Lampard but Chelsea have not is way off the mark ,you bring players in to make a squad better not to make an already large squad bigger,The players we want clubs only let go for more money than Everton paid for all of them and some more !

Exactly my point bro...We have a great depth from our well established academy. TT should be encouraged to groom a good support for Chilwell from there. Look at Livramento shinning in Southampton. We do NOT need to buy.  If we didn't have a transfer ban we would not have looked in-ward. And see what that has done to our team...Mason Mount, Reece James, Hudson Odoi, Tammy Abraham(though he is out now)...And more recently Chalobah....Remember also that once Chelsea indicates interest in a player, the money demand goes astronomically high. Soccer is business. Very wise decisions need to be made. I support our quiet January window for this year...We can do it. We have the depth...#WeMove

We have a long list of players who were developed by coaches to take up new positions in roles that were not their traditional roles and they have done well....Will mention a few examples..Mikel Obi arrived Chelsea as an attacking midfielder at a time when we had Lampard, Joe Cole, Ballack, etc. Jose Morinho converted him to a defensive midfielder. He spent 11 years in Chelsea playing 374 games. He had a successful career.. We read and watched an interview of Malang Sarr recently where he said, he started out his career as an attacker. Today is in defence...Hudson Odoi has been used at different times as a RWB....There were one or two matches before his injury where Reece James was used by TT as a midfielder....We play Havertz sometimes as a false 9. That was his position when he got us the Champions League winning goal last year. Ngolo Kante arrived Chelsea as purely a defensive midfielder, Sari pushed him upfront. It was very tough initially, but look Kante today. That addition of offensive quality has become an added asset. In my view,  therefore, it's no harm developing the skills of a LWB in Lewis Hall....He is young and highly adaptable. He has been tried in that role and that's what has earned him the raves today...Once again I say....#WeMove...

Everton wouldn't buy Dele or Beek if they had Kante and Kovacic...
