Southampton sign Armando Broja on loan (reliability: 5 stars)

According to Fabrizio Romano, Southampton completed the loan signing of Chelsea prospect Armando Broja.

Chelsea will officially announce the deal in the next few hours.

The 19-year-old has already completed his medicals with the Saints, as per Romano.

The Saints need to replace the departed Danny Ings. They have already signed Blackburn's Adam Armstrong and Broja will add some much-needed depth to their attack.

The Albanian impressed against Bournemouth in the pre-season friendly, earning praise from Thomas Tuchel.

He recently signed a new deal with Chelsea, committing his future to the club until 2026.
