All ins and outs Chelsea could make in August – transfer round-up

OUTS

Bakayoko apparently has no future at Stamford Bridge. According to Fabrizio Romano, Fiorentina are set to become his next destination. It remains to be seen if the midfielder leaves on loan or permanently.

Tino Livramento

Livramento is likely to become another product of Chelsea's academy to try his luck elsewhere. As per reports, Timo is on his way to Southampton now.

Similarly to Bakayoko's situation, Zappacosta's days at the Bridge seem to be numbered so it would be no surprise to see the Italian moving back to Serie A where he spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Genoa.

Even though Tammy is reportedly keen on staying at Chelsea beyond the summer to fight for his place in Thomas Tuchel's set-up, the German manager apparently doesn't see Abraham as his first-choice striker next term.

Arsenal, Aston Villa and Leicester City are all said to be interested in the Englishman but it's unlikely that any of the trio meet the Blues' asking price of around £30-40m for the 23-year-old.

INS

According to Fabrizio Romano's latest update, Kounde has reached an agreement on personal terms with the Blues.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are offering €30-35m and Kurt Zouma as a part of the deal for their 'priority' target but Sevilla want around €40-45m plus Zouma for their prized asset.

Inter Milan have already rejected two bids from Chelsea for the Belgian but the Blues 'haven't given up' on bringing Lukaku back to the Bridge, as per The Athletic.

Chelsea's plan is to take advantage of Inter's financial struggles to sign Rom as neither Bayern Munich nor Borussia Dortmund are willing to part company with Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland.

POSITIONS TO STRENGTHEN

Centre-back

It's no coincidence that the Blues have identified Kounde as their 'priority' for the remainder of the transfer window as Tuchel is apparently not happy with his defence.

Striker

The same applies to Chelsea's No.9 role for the forthcoming campaign. As mentioned, Abraham doesn't seem to be in Tuchel's plans so signing Lukaku, Lewandowski or Haaland is a no-brainer.
