'We haven’t learned our lesson from Morata and Werner': fans explain why Ings move a good idea, alternative named

Danny Ings is among several names on Chelsea's transfer wishlist as the Blues want to bolster their attacking options in the transfer market.

And while many Chelsea fans do not want the Southampton man to move to Stamford Bridge because of his age and injury issues, these two Blues believe he would be a great addition.

"I think Chelsea should start considering Premier League strikers than strikers from other leagues," Uzor Stanley wrote on Tribuna. "After signing we fans we start praying for them to prove themselves in the Prem.

"lngs scored 22 goals at Southampton. Imagine that guy in the Chelsea team that creates a lot of chances.

"Stop underestimate Premier League strikers. any striker in the Premier league that scores 22 to 25 goals a season is a good striker."

And another fan agreed with Uzor Stanley.

"Exactly right. I’ve said this for months," MJ Forbes wrote. "We haven’t learned our lesson from Morata or Werner.

"I’m willing to give Werner another year to prove me wrong, but I’m confident he won’t. I believe he’ll continue to miss easy goals because he’s just not mentally equipped to consistently score in this league.

"I’ve called for Dominic Calvert-Lewin as an alternative to Haaland. He plays on a far less talented team that creates fewer chances than Chelsea, and he’s young, fast, strong, a great poacher, and great in the air.

"Most importantly, he’s Premier League proven. Haaland isn’t and we’ve been snake bitten by Morata and Werner.

"As for Ings, If Ings can score 22 goals with Southhampton, he would easily score 25 goals at Chelsea."
