3 players closest to joining, 5 to leave & more: Chelsea's possible INs and OUTs

INS

Chelsea have been linked with moves for a striker, a midfielder and a centre-back. No player is on the verge of signing for the Blues but the club is active in the market and trying to get a few deals done.

Moves for Haaland, Chiesa, Camavinga are looking extremely improbable at the moment so they are not included in this round-up.

Probability: 3 stars

Robert Lewandowski. Chelsea are said to be offering £50m for the Bayern forward. It remains to be seen whether the German champions accept the bid and if the striker wants a Premier League experience.

Harry Kane. Tottenham do not want to let the England captain go but Kane himself is eager to leave Spurs. However, he's unlikely to go to Stamford Bridge because of the rivalry between two sides.

Danny Ings. The Blues could consider the 29-year-old if they fail to bring Haaland, Kane, Lewa or Kalajdzic.

Declan Rice. A £100m price tag makes his signing almost impossible. Chelsea will try to lower the price by including Tammy Abraham in the deal though.

Jules Kounde. The Sevilla man is more likely to stay in Spain at this moment but Chelsea are keeping tabs on him.

Probability: 4 stars

Sasa Kalajdzic. The towering striker would cost more than £30m but Chelsea see him as a cheaper alternative to Haaland, who would be extremely difficult to get this summer.

Aurelien Tchouameni. The AS Monaco midfielder impressed in Ligue 1 and, unlike Declan Rice, would not cost a fortune.

Wayne Hennessey or Marcus Bettinelli. One of these two free agents is likely to be signed to be Chelsea's third-choice goalkeeper this season.

OUTS

Probability: 3 stars

Kurt Zouma. AS Roma are interested in the centre-back and Chelsea would be fine with selling him if the Italians pay the €30m asking price.

Emerson. Napoli's interest in the full-back has calmed down somewhat but he appears to be transfer-listed.

Probability: 4 stars

Tammy Abraham. The young striker is likely to leave Chelsea this summer as the club is trying to use him in part-exchange deals for Kane and Rice. Arsenal are also interested.

Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Davide Zappacosta, Danny Drinkwater. Expected to leave the club either on loan or a permanent deal.
