Chelsea want to sign Erling Haaland this summer but a deal is turning out to be difficult as Dortmund don't want to let go of their main man.
Reportedly, the Bundesliga side will demand at least £130M for their talisman and even for Chelsea, this could be a tough ask.
Chelsea fan shastmak4 has identified 2 alternatives to Haaland: "If Tammy goes and we can’t get Haaland, Vlahovic is the striker we should be going after. He is going to be a star.
"I also wouldn’t mind Danny Ings as more of a short-term option."
Fiorentina’s striker Dusan Vlahovic is quickly catching the eye as one to watch this summer, and it's not hard to see why.
He had 21 goals last Serie A season in 37 appearances - a great output for a 21-year old. Vlahovic is capable of dominating near enough any centre-back he comes up against due to his towering frame (he is almost 6'3") and his physical prowess.
Take a look at a hattrick he scored back in March:
His goal tally last season is second only to Haaland when it comes to players under 22 in Europe’s top-five leagues, so it's not a bad shout.
As for Ings - all Premier League fans know him! However, injuries have plagued the striker so while he could be a good short-term option, it's surely not one for the future. Reportedly, he does want to leave Southampton this summer, so we could see something happening here if Chelsea decide to make a move.
