Arsenal fans have praised Thomas Partey for his role in Leandro Trossard's goal against Chelsea on Tuesday.
Trossard opened the scoring for the Gunners after just four minutes, finishing off a beautiful run from Declan Rice.
However, some supporters took notice of Partey's one-time pass to Rice.
🗣️Sash: "That goal was about Thomas Partey. One touch pass finding Rice in space. Boy have we missed that."
🗣️GoonerThoughts: "Agreed. Jorginho has been great, but Partey (on form) is a level up. His progressive and disguised passing unlocks space. He may still be getting back to full physical condition but his impact in our build up cannot be understated."
🗣️A Roy: "Partey one touch passing is back"
🗣️Jamie Kent: "The pass that broke the lines from Partey is SO simple but so effective".
🗣️Sam Dean: "Partey popping it first-time to Rice, who has the freedom to drive forward and set up the goal. Is that an example of the original plan for this Arsenal midfield? The plan that was derailed by Partey's injury? Looked like it. 1-0."
