Famous actress Anne Hathaway turns out to be a massive Arsenal fan!
As she was chatting with Interview Magazine alongside co-actor Nicholas Galitzine to promote their latest film The Idea of You, Leandro Trossard scored for Arsenal against Wolves. The two seemingly unrelated events have a common link in Hathaway, who instantly became animated and shouted 'I love you' to the footballer.
"Sorry, we're both fans of the same team and there's a match going on right now," she explained right after.
Anne, whose most prominent works include The Princess Diaries (2001), Brokeback Mountain (2005), The Devil Wears Prada (2006), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), and Interstellar (2014), makes no secret of her support for the Gunners. However, her partner in crime Galitzine is just as mad about the club.
In one of the recent interviews, he was asked about what formation Arsenal should line up in. After an initial surprise, Galitzine provided a tactical breakdown.
"Listen, Mikel [Arteta], if you’re looking for an assistant, it is a 4-3-3. It is a 3-5-2 in attack, really," said Nicholas. "But we need a center forward who’s able to play in those spaces that Martin Odegaard does, but is a focal point in attack.
"I don’t think we have that just yet. So we need to dip into the market in the summer because the January transfer window is not a great time to buy."We don’t want to spend money for the sake of it, but I think we’re in a good place."
