David Raya goes down in Arsenal history books for enviable clean sheet record

David Raya kept a well-deserved clean sheet in the 0-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux.

He has now kept a clean sheet in six consecutive away games for Arsenal, according to Squawka.

This is a feat that's been achieved by a goalkeeper for the first time in the club's history, which is a big deal.

It's one thing to keep clean sheets at home but to keep them on the road truly shows how defensively sound the Gunners are.

Here is the full list.

πŸ”» 0-6 vs. West Ham

πŸ”» 0-5 vs. Burnley

πŸ”» 0-6 vs. Sheffield Utd

πŸ”» 0-0 vs. Man City

πŸ”» 0-3 vs. Brighton

πŸ”» 0-2 vs. Wolves

Raya is finally proving Mikel Arteta was right to keep the faith in him even if it meant casting Aaron Ramsdale aside.

The Spaniard was also declared the Man of the Match and few could argue he didn't deserve it.
