3 key stats shows why Leandro Trossard is Arsenal's most lethal goal-scorer

Leandro Trossard produced a clinical performance for Arsenal by scoring a clever goal in the 2-0 win over Wolves.

The Belgian forward has taken his tally to 14 goals and two assists for Arsenal so far this season, having scored the joint-second most goals in the Premier League for the Gunners.

There have some interesting data that has come up after the game, proving that Trossard might as well by the Gunners’ most lethal goal-scorer.

Firstly, Trossard is averaging a goal per 136 minutes this season. That is, by-far, the best in the Arsenal squad – with Bukayo Saka second with a goal every 196 minutes (271’ excluding penalties).

The Belgian star also has the best shooting accuracy (57%) for any player in the Arsenal squad and the best shot conversion rate (27%) too.

What is astonishing about Trossard is how two-footed he is. The 28-year-old has scored 33 Premier League goals since arriving in England in 2019, 20 of which have come from his right foot and 13 on his left.
