Leandro Trossard turned into Arsenal’s hero to help inspire the 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.
With the Bavarians firmly in the lead in the second half, the Belgian winger helped change the complexion of the result after coming on.
He linked up beautifully with Gabriel Jesus to score a superb goal in the 76th minute, keeping the tie alive for the second leg.
This is actually the sixth goal that Trossard has scored as a substitute for Arsenal this season in all competitions.
No other player in Europe’s top-five leagues has been able to score more than that in the 2023/24 season so far.
Trossard has taken his tally to 13 goals and two assists in 38 games this season, with nearly half of his strikes coming as a substitute.
