Mikel Arteta feels that Jurrien Timber has a strong chance of returning to action for Arsenal in the end-of-season run-in.
Ahead of the Luton Town clash, he said: "He’s doing very well. He’s back training. He’s not far off. The thing is that last step.
"We’re going to have to feel it now. I would say he’s got a good chance [of playing before the end of the season]."
Arsenal are in for a difficult end to the 2023/24 season, having just nine Premier League games remaining and some huge Champions League clashes in store too.
With Timber only having made one single competition appearance for Arsenal before picking up a knee injury earlier this season, it remains to be seen how often he can play for the Gunners in these final months of the 2023/24 season.
