David Raya leads Golden Glove race — but Saturday could be a setback

David Raya has edged into the lead in the Golden Glove race, keeping nine clean sheets for Arsenal in the Premier League.

The goalkeeper is followed in the rankings by Everton's Jordan Pickford and Manchester City's Ederson with eight clean sheets each.

However, the 28-year-old shot-stopper is not eligible to play against Brentford at the weekend, giving his opponents a decent chance to catch up.

Terms of Raya's loan agreement forbid him to feature against his parent club but that will not be an issue next season when the Gunners complete the move.
