Jorginho’s contract at Arsenal is ticking away and his current deal is set to expire at the end of June, 2024.
However, as per Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners have lined up discussions with his agent and plan to talk to him in the next few weeks.
The two parties will hold conversations about the details of his next possible contract after the Italian midfielder has proved himself an important part of the squad.
Jorginho is currently prioritizing staying at Arsenal for the long-term rather than joining any other club in the summer transfer window.
While he’d be happy to stay, the Gunners will have to offer favorable terms for the experienced midfielder to want to stay.
Jorginho has made 25 appearances for Mikel Arteta’s side this season, scoring one goal and providing an assist.
