Revealed: Mykhailo Mudryk called Arsenal 'in tears' and begged to stop his transfer to Chelsea

Mykhailo Mudryk's controversial move to Chelsea last January has now been given an interesting update.

According to Arsenal insider Team News and Ticks on Twitter, the winger did not actually snub the Gunners for the Blues.

In fact, the 23-year-old was in 'tears' on his way to the airport when his club Shakhtar Donetsk accepted an £89 million offer from Chelsea.

Distressed Mudryk even called Arsenal to ask them to stop the transfer from taking place but the Gunners decided against increasing their offer, pulling away.
