Toney stays quiet on his future
Ivan Toney, who continues to be linked with a move to Arsenal, has refused to confirm or deny reports he's leaving Brentford at the end of the 2023/24 season.
He told the BBC: "Nobody can predict the future, whatever happens happens, but the main thing and the main focus right now is do well for Brentford, keep them in the league, getting goals and three points."
Ferdinand shocked to see Rice booed
Rio Ferdinand did not expect to see Declan Rice get booed on his return to the London Stadium as an Arsenal player.
The Man United legend said on the Vibe with Five: "When I look at Declan’s situation, I see it being quite similar to mine. He actually did more for West Ham than I ever did. Stayed longer, won something.
"And then I saw the game yesterday and I saw him being booed, you were there, you said it was crazy, and I’m like, really? He didn’t leave you in the lurch. He won a trophy, he’s gone to a team that’s competing for the Champions League."
Arsenal players encourage Nwaneri
After Ethan Nwaneri's solid cameo appearance in the 6-0 thrashing of West Ham United, Arsenal players flocked to his Instagram to share words of motivation.
Along with several messages of encouragement, some players also shared emojis to express their delight at watching him get a chance.
