Fulham referee named
Peter Bankes will be taking charge of the Fulham vs Arsenal clash in the Premier League on Sunday, December 31, it has been announced.
The 41-year-old official has so far refereed seven top-flight involving the Gunners with a record of four wins, two draws and just one defeat.
Odegaard blames lack of finishing for derby loss
Speaking to reporters after the derby defeat to West Ham United, Martin Odegaard explained: "I think we created more than enough to score goals to win the game and it was the little details and the little last pass or the finish that was missing today.
"We have to learn from it and make sure we get sharper and better in front of the goals. The goals we conceded were too easy, so definitely in front of the goals, inside the boxes, that’s where the games are decided."
West Ham to hand Moyes new contract
As per the BBC, West Ham are set to hand David Moyes a new contract after his side pulled off the 0-2 win at Arsenal.
Moyes, 60, will see his current contract run out in the summer of 2024 and his impact on helping them climb to sixth spot has impressed those in charge.
