Bukayo Saka mistakenly caused an injury for Liverpool defender Kostas Tsimikas during the 1-1 draw at Anfield.
Saka clashed with the Greek left-back in the first half near the touchline and Tsimikas ended up colliding with Jurgen Klopp, causing a tailorbone injury.
The Arsenal man was quick to apologize after the game, saying: “I heard he has gone to hospital so obviously I want to apologise to him, I didn’t mean it of course.
“For me it was a 50/50 and I have gone shoulder to shoulder with him. I didn't see it but he must have taken a bad fall, I didn't see him go into Jurgen Klopp either.
“I was focused on running forward because I didn’t think it was a foul. That's my take on it.”
Saka obviously did not mean to hurt Tsimikas intentionally and it only happened in the spur of the moment. The Englishman didn’t have the best of games against Liverpool, failing to get close to scoring.
