James Maddison has described Declan Rice as a technically gifted footballer. The Tottenham midfielder, however, doesn't like the fact that Rice plays for Arsenal.
He said: “He’s got everything. He’s technically really good. He is a joke when it comes to low-cut passes. I think he’s a top, top player, I hate that he plays for Arsenal.”
Rice has consistently delivered impressive performances all season. Since he arrived at the Emirates Stadium, the midfielder has quickly established himself as a crucial player in Mikel Arteta’s regular starting XI and has rapidly made himself a fan favourite in north London.
Rice represents the long-term future of the Arsenal midfield. All of Thomas Partey, Jorginho, and Mohamed Elneny could well move on from the club at the end of the current season.
