Arsenal trio up for Premier League awards
Arsenal trio of Mikel Arteta, Declan Rice and Eddie Nketiah have all been officially nominated for Premier League awards for the month of October.
Arteta is up for Manager of the Month (for the third consecutive month), Rice is nominated for Player of the Month while Nketiah is vying for Goal of the Month.
David Moyes hails Rice
David Moyes said: “There isn’t a person in this stadium today who doesn’t recognise Declan Rice as a top football player.
"But there was a lot of West Ham supporters in there tonight who probably hoped that he didn’t do so well and their team won."
Tomiyasu named Arsenal Player of the Month
Takehiro Tomiyasu has been named our men's Player of the Month for October.
The Japanese defender polled 64 per cent of the votes to be our runaway winner, ahead of Declan Rice, Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka.
