Bukayo Saka will not play for Arsenal against Brentford when the two teams meet in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
Saka suffered a foot problem in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur, where he scored a goal.
The 22-year-old was spotted limping off during extra time and now, fans' worse fears have come true.
In his pre-match press conference, Mikel Arteta told reporters: "He was limping quite badly after the match.
"We had to get him off the field, which is never a good sign. He hasn’t been able to participate in the session."
The boss was then asked if Saka would be absent when we face Bournemouth over the weekend. To that, he replied: "It’s a possibility, yes."
Unless Saka recovers in time, he could be doubtful for the big game against Manchester City in October.
