Matteo Guendouzi is on the verge of completing an €18 million move to Lazio, according to several sources in Italy.

And Arsenal are set for a nice transfer windfall thanks to a clause they included in the deal to sell the midfielder to Marseille.

The sell-on clause entitles the Gunners to a portion of the transfer fee earned by the Ligue 1 side although the exact percentage is not known.

Guendouzi, known for his discipline issues, had a falling out with Mikel Arteta in 2020 and left the club on a permanent transfer after two seasons on loan.
